Production Log: Monday 25th February

During half term I finished my contents page and I began to do my double page spreads and was nearly finished. However in today's lesson I finished my double page spreads. And began to look through my magazine and checking the spelling of my magazine and making sure I have included everything I intended to include. When going through my magazine I noticed I had quite a few spelling mistakes I used the spell check that was InDesign.

In today's lesson I continued with my contents page. I continued to add features to my magazine. And do all the page numbers however when putting the page numbers on my contents page I got confused and was using the numbers more than once. Therefore to resolve this problem I wrote out a list of numbers in order in a word document and crossed off the numbers that I had already used which allowed me not get confused with the numbers that I had already used. I have decided to stick to my colour scheme throughout my magazine by just using purple, grey and black. This makes the magazine a lot more eye catching and allows my target audience to identify my magazine.

Production Log: Friday 8th February

In today's lesson I continued with my contents page and worked on sorting out which pictures to use. I used pictures that I had taken in previous concerts that I had attended, I will be attending another concert on the 23rd February where I will then take more photos and put on my contents page. The photos that I already have are from The Wanted concert and the Olympic Torch Relay Concert, I have used these photos as these artists are pop artists and would work perfectly on my contents page. A very popular pop boy band are One Direction and luckily for me I will be attending there concert which means I will be able to take pictures of them at the concert and also include them in my contents page and I will be able to attract my target audience as they are fans of this band and will want to read the magazine to find out gossip.

Production Log: Monday 4th February

In today's lesson I continued with my contents page. I set myself a target which was to do at least half of the contents page. I managed to write Contents in the corner of my page and layout all my text and finish my band and artist index. I also improved some of posts on my blog as I hadn't included a little paragraph explaining each task that I completed.

Production Log: Friday 1st February

I managed to finish my front cover as planned and in today's I worked on my contents page. This is going to take me a few lesson to complete as I will be filling the contents page with a lot of information and ensure that  I have all the conventions to a successful magazine contents page. This includes having page numbers to help the reader to easily navigate them to different page and having pictures supporting some features.
